"To lose a passport was the least of one’s worries. To lose a notebook was a catastrophe" - Bruce Chatwin
Bruce Chatwin reinvented travel writing in the 1970s and 80s with books such as In Patagonia and The Songlines.
30 years on, Cereal and Vintage, supported by Moleskine, are celebrating Chatwin’s work with a global contest for the innovative travel storytellers of today.
Are you a writer, photographer, videographer, or artist? Do you have a travel story to tell? To enter the contest, simply submit a travel essay (1500 words max), along with any supporting images or artwork to: email@example.com
The winner will have their piece published on readcereal.com and will receive a Bruce Chatwin travel kit, including a library of Bruce Chatwin travel books, published by Vintage Classics, and travel-writing essentials from Moleskine.
The deadline is Thursday 7th September 2017.
