We partnered with GAP to create a series of lifestyle imagery for their #liveinsummer campaign, around the subject of US National Parks. For the first part of our collaboration, we travelled with Cereal friend and photographer Alice Gao to White Sands National Monument — the largest gypsum sand field in the world.
Here, close to the Texas-New Mexico border, gently rolling dunes fade into the horizon and the sun rises to over 100ºF during summer months. At dawn, the shimmering crystal surface of the pristine white sands reflect the light blue skies, and a soft pink glow forms as evening begins to settle. The dusty pinks eventually evolve into a deep blue hue, and the light of the moon takes over, shining bright out across the desert.
